 Dr. Robert B. Miller, D.D.S.
Dr. Robert Miller chose general dentistry because he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly restorative cases. He was inspired by his father and grandfather to choose a career that would allow him to work with his hands, and impact people’s lives in a positive way.
Dr. Miller was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He received his undergraduate degree from Des Moines’ own Drake University in 1981. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa in 1985.
He practiced for 14 1/2 years in Des Moines. His proudest professional achievement is the work he did as the Clinical Dental Director of the Des Moines Health Center, providing dental care predominately for the children of low-income, hard-working families.
He moved to Minnesota in 1999 with his wife Kim, a Twin Cities native. He practiced in Lakeville for over eight years before joining Southern Heights Dental Group in 2008. Kim is a clinical pharmacist in the field of prescription benefit management
Dr. Bob’s hobbies include do-it-yourself projects, and enjoying sports. But his truest happiness comes from his wife and two young children, along with his two grown children, a daughter in Des Moines and a son in Kansas City.
