Dental Implants
Dental Implants are an ideal solution to replace missing teeth or even replace an entire jaw line of teeth. If you are missing one or more teeth, a dental implant procedure might be right for you.
When people lose one or more teeth, many problems can occur, including: an improper bite, shifting, crooked teeth, bone deterioration or problems chewing.
Often a first choice in tooth replacement, dental implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. Dental implants can also be used to stabilize and secure loose-fitting dentures.
Implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. During healing, the jaw bone bonds with the titanium post, providing a base onto which we would attach a permanent restoration (artificial teeth). This restoration may be a crown or a bridge.
Implants can help preserve facial structure and prevent the bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.
